State-run diamond firm promotes projects to get investments

Luanda 31/7/09 - The chairman of the state-run Angola diamonds company, Endiama, Manuel Calado, on Thursday here said that the sector will be engaged in the development of the department of geology and mining, to promote some projects capable of attracting investments, ANGOP has learnt.

Manuel Calado said so at the closing ceremony of the first exhibition of Memórias da Endiama (Memories of Endiama), which opened on Tuesday, in Luanda, that showed 30 photos taken between 1941 and 1949, in order to get historic images and information since the company's creation.

According to Manuel Calado, in this moment of crisis there is also a certain pressure from some investors, therefore “we will promote these projects so that investors can get information capable of making them invest in these specific projects”.
