Government to pay all salaries, bonuses until December 25
Luanda 11/7/08 – The Angolan government has reassured that it will pay all the salaries of public servants until the 25th of December.
The assurance was given by the Finance minister Severim de Morais.
“On the second fortnight of November we will pay the yearend bonus and at the beginning of December we'll pay the salary of November, and by December 25 the salary for that month has to be paid”, explained the minister.
Severim de Morais guaranteed also that the Finance Ministry and the National Reserve Bank (BNA) have everything prepared to cover the payments.
